About the project
Supported housing exists to make sure everyone in our communities can live their best life, whatever their circumstances, ideally within their own home.

It provides invaluable housing and support for disabled, homeless, and older people, as well as for people with mental health problems and persons who have experienced domestic abuse.
Supported housing also helps ease the pressure on the NHS and care services, and saves the public purse. The goals of supported housing include building independence for individuals and moving away from an institutional approach to one where people have choice and control over their lives.
Problem
Residents of subsidized housing often struggle with daily routines and community interactions, requiring assistance due to unfamiliarity with common procedures. Few achieve full independence, largely due to unemployment, which leads to boredom and increased need for caregivers.

The shortage of staff, especially healthcare workers who focus too much on one-to-one work, exacerbates the problem.
Learning new skills can help residents find jobs and become more self-reliant.

Our Solution
The main idea is to create a digital platform that will help both tenants and their caregivers:
-
Help tenants acclimatize to the new surroundings and form new habits
-
Provide the caregivers with useful tools for managing several tenants
Concept
After the market research was accomplished, we went through the process of several review meetings and discussions to develop the general concept for our app.
